Once upon a time in a land not so far away...there was a young girl that lived in a small USA town who dreamed every Halloween of being Cinderella, Snow White, or a magical fairy who lived among the animals inside a hollow log by day and was transformed into a beautiful princess by night. I never wanted to be a witch or anything ugly or scary...I always went for the pretty costumes. It's still fun to dream. If I were a pink princess, I would wear this...
...or this!
...or, perhaps this
...and perhaps these
...or this!
...and this would be worn in my hair.
After a long night of walking door to door (or dancing with Prince Charming!) I'd sleepily climb into this to be driven home, where I'd drift off to sleep thinking of my one night per year of pure magic!
So, please share - what did you want to be for Trick or Treat on Halloween as a child? Scary, spooky....witch or wizard, pirate or princess?
Until next time, have a pink fairytale weekend!

Yummy dreams! I was always something girly...even the year I was a witch! One year I was an ice skater with a pretty pink skirt. One year I was a nurse back when they wore the skirts and fun blue capes. Whatever it was...it was girly! I wish I could have been driven house to house in that pink carriage!
I'm your newest follower!
sigh, blissful pinkness !
I always wanted to be a cowboy. Still have my gun. :))
Happy Pink Saturday
The gowns are simply stunning.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Loved your pink post, and that pink carriage is wonderful!! I dressed up in different costumes when I was little because my mom made all our costumes. I do remember being a princess though. Your post made me smile today.

Love your ideas of costumes...so pretty...I was anything I could through together..hobo was a good one...or a gypsy!! I did have a neighbor when I was really young that lived in a musty old home full of beautiful gowns and jewelry...we used to go there and play dress up daily...she was wonderful! Looking back...she was probably lonely and therefore indulged us!!
Hello sweet Cindy,
you would surely transform to a wonderful pink princess. So cute photos, every girl would love to be so. Thank you for your cute comments about my cat. Would love to see your cats.
Bests greetings, Johanna
Great pinks, Cindy! I missed sharing again this week - working Thursday and Friday has me fried by Saturday morning and then I'm out and about! I need to get a handle on this balancing work and blog thing - I miss Pink Saturdays - especially when folks share such pinky things as you've done today!
Joy!

Gorgeous pink dresses and the jewelry is also
gorgeous!! Loved the shoes...and the pink carriage, too!!
I used to want to be a gypsy (in real life) so much that I usually managed to get a costume of some sort together making me one for the night!!
Life in the 40 and 50's was simple, so every-
thing was home-made...and "trick or treating" was fun and safe....!!!
Thanks for sharing the "pretty in pinks"!
Francy
Oh WOW, Cindy, I love those pink dresses!!! They are soooo dreamy!
