Cats on Tuesday - Buster Goes to Doctor!



Hello friends,
Buster here. You will not believe what happened to me last week. OMC!! It was horrible time...but I need to start at beginning of story. I was not feeling so good and Mom start to worry about me. You see, I did not want to cuddle with her and when she try to pet me, I growl at her. I hide in closet and wouldn't come out. Then she notice I am drooling from my mouth (I'm sorry for gory details, but it is the truth!) So, next day she call the doctor and they say to bring me right in!!! Here I am in car getting ready to go to hospital.

 

HELP, FRIENDS!!

We arrive at animal doctor. This is outside of building painted with woofies and kitties. Don't let those cute pictures fool you! They do evil things here!!!

Here we are waiting for my turn.

 

 

Looks like no one is here to me...I think we should go back home!!

 

 

Finally...we go back to little room to wait for doctor. Agony!!! I see the door...this is my time for escape! But, door is shut tight. I am trapped!

 

 

Next, doctor come in and examine me from head to tail. He listen to my heart and lungs. He check to see if I have fever...and I don't need to tell you how he do that, friends. It was so humiliating!!! Then he prick me and take my BLOOD! OMC! Can this get any worse? He try to look at my teeth, but I clamp my mouth shut.

 

 

 Then, you'll never guess what happened - Mom leaves and not take me with her!! Doctor take me in another room and next thing I know I'm out like a light. Well, guess what? I had bad tooth and while I was asleep, they took it out of my head!! After awhile, Mom come pick me up, and she all sweet and nice and say "oh, my Buster, I'm so glad you're okay." Stuff like that. Then, she give them some money and we finally leave.

 

This is me...right after we got home and I am free again.

 

 

It was horrible experience. Mom want to take my picture, but I would not look at her.

 

 

 

Between me and you, my mouth feel much better, but Mom should not leave me like that!! I was not happy with her, but don't worry - I will forgive her. So, friends, that was my horrible week. I hope yours' was much better than mine!

Cats on Tuesday ~ Buster Lost & Found!

Hello friends,
Rudy here. Our Mom has been so bad lately - she not let us post for our special day, Cats on Tuesday, for long time. I had to get real bossy with her to get on computer because I has to tell you what Buster did!  When warm weather is outside, Buster go outside every day for little while and sit on swing on patio, or sometimes he sit on old chair in garage.

See...this is Buster on swing.

Well, one day Mom let Buster out and when she went to get him...she couldn't find him! She waited and waited and waited. No Buster. At first she not worried, because sometimes we go in field in back of house to look for juicy little mousies. But, many hours pass and still Buster not come home. Mom start to remember one other time when Buster got lost and was gone for whole month! She go outside and call his name, "Buster...Busssterrr!" Just like that. She call animal prison to see if anyone bring in a kitty look like Buster. They say no. Then our human Aunt come over and I hear Mom ask if she drive her over neighborhood to look for him. She say, "it's so hot outside today, I'm afraid he'll be overcome by the heat." So they leave. Pretty soon, they come back and Aunt goes home. Mom sit in chair looking all depressed like. Well, friends, you'll never guess what happened.  Lots of hours go by...and just when Mom start to go look for Buster again, he come walking up on patio!! He be gone like 11 or 12 hours!!

Mom is happy and scoop him up. Buster come inside and eat and drink water and then he go to sleep in chair. He not tell anyone where he been all day. I ask him...Mom ask him...even Sam ask him...but he not telling anyone!

Mom say he grounded now for scaring her! MOL!

Cats on Tuesday ~ Buster's Life Lesson #2

Hello friends, Buster here.
I already shared with you my first life lesson I learned when first came to live with Mom and two brothers, and that is "if you ever lose your way, watch for open door and make new life." You can read about that HERE. Now I am ready to share life lesson number two, but first I have story to tell you.

TRUE STORY OF ME - BUSTER

After I live with Mom and Rudy and Sam for about 4 years, something bad happen to me. Mom let me go outside to sleep on patio swing one day. Only, this day I decide to go exploring. Before I know it, I lose my way again and don't know where the heck I am. I walk up and down sidewalks looking for my house, but I don't see it. I don't see Mom. I don't see Rudy or Sam. I start to panic and feel like I going to throw up a hairball! Pretty soon, someone pick me up. I relax, thinking, "oh, this person going to take me home to Mom." Nooooo! That NOT what happen, friends! Instead, they take me to cat prison!! They put me in a tiny room with bars and no windows!! All I had was room to lay down and a potty box. Twice a day, lady comes in and gives me food and water and says "oh, you sweet little thing!" Stuff like that. This go on for days and days. I thought this might be where I going to spend the rest of my life, but I had hope in my heart I would see Mom again.

While this going on, Mom was having a big cry every day because she couldn't find me! She put my picture on a piece of paper that say LOST CAT and put in everyone's mailbox. She even call the cat prison and ask if they find me, but they tell her "we're sorry but he isn't here." This go on for THREE weeks until finally woman at cat prison look at paper where Mom call in...then she come in and look at me...scratch her head...and say "maybe..." They call Mom and she come to look at me and as soon as she sees me, she start crying and say "It's him, it's him!"  I purr real loud, I so happy to see Mom! So, soon I was back home...biting Sam and Rudy's ears and playing with fake mousies...

...and eating good food again. I like to eat on stairs, so I even train Mom to feed me there! MOL!

So friends, moral of this story is: when you find yourself trapped, don't ever give up hope of loved one finding you and setting you free.

P.S. Mom try to put something around my neck that have my name and phone number on it. But, I am bad and everytime I take it off until finally she give up on that idea. Instead, I just stick close to home now. No more exploring.

Cats on Tuesday ~ Meet Dolly

We have a guest on our blog today because our human mom didn't get any cute pictures of us for our special day, Cats on Tuesday. MOL!!
