Cats in Windows

My blogging friend, Myric, of Petites Passions, is launching her new link party "Passion Parade Friday Link Soiree."  The idea is to post about something you're passionate about and link it to her blog. As most of my followers know, I'm passionate about several things; art, books, tea, nature, travel...and cats! So, this Friday, I'm sharing photos of my cats (those furry critters just can't get enough of seeing themselves online!) I invite everyone to visit Myric's blog, if you aren't already a follower of hers, and join in the fun. She's also hosting a giveaway!

Rainy day musings...

In the meantime, Sam retreated for a snooze. A nice day for a nap...but then, everyday is a good day to nap for a cat!

And here is our English kitty friend, Dolly. I introduced Dolly to you in an earlier post, which can be found HERE.

Here are a few more photos of cats in windows that I found on Google Images from a website called Great-Pictures-Of-Cats.com.

I think every window should have a cat!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Until next time,
Cindy

Cats on Tuesday ~ Here Comes the Sun

Hello friends,
Time for special blog update from me, Buster, for Cats on Tuesday. I think I'm wrong way on computer...can't see screen. MOL! Need to turn around!

Now, let me tell you about very fine weather we have lately. It's warm like summertime! So, every day after my daily meditations, I sit on patio swing in warm sunlight, watching birdies in trees. Mom get very upset if I catch them, though, so I try to be just watcher...not hunter.

Must clear mind of all thoughts of catching fat, juicy little birdies...ommm

Me on patio swing

Now I give update on other cats I share house with...Sam and Rudy.

Sam sleeping, as usual. Sam big man-cat! I think he need to cut down on his noms! MOL!

Today, Rudy watching "Animal Planet" on TV box.

Here is another picture of me, Buster, enjoying sunshine.

Life is good, friends. I hope you enjoy my update!
Until next time,
Buster

Cats on Tuesday ~ Rudy's Turn

Hello Everyone. It has been a good week - very warm and lots of sunshine, my favorite. What's this? Our human Mom wears these on her face sometimes, but she forgot them on the bed this morning.

I wonder what she will do if I take them? I could hide them behind pillow. It might be fun watching her look all over house for them! MOL!!

Too late...she saw me with them and put on her face again.

Wait...I see something! Need closer look!!

Squirrels chasing each other up and down tree!!!

I love to watch squirrels and birds! So fun!!  Buster asked to show this picture of him in box he found. He's what we call a big "ham" - always wants his picture on computer!

Until next time, have a good week, people!

Our Mom is late posting our pictures for our special day, but here we are! The weather was much nicer this week - almost no rain and warmer!

Buster and Rudy giving themselves an outdoor bath!

Uh oh! Someone is coming!!

It was just Sam - Buster getting ready to pounce on him!!

Sam wouldn't wrestle...so Buster finds pile of leaves to play in!

Happy week, everyone from Buster, Rudy, Sam and Cindy

Buster ~ Bored!

Hello all, Buster here. Time for another Cats on Tuesday - our special day! Is getting very chilly around here, so not much fun going outside. It rained all weekend and I do not like getting wet!! Very boring!

Me - not too happy

All Sam wants to do is sleep. See ~ here he is...sleeping...

....and here

...and here again with Rudy. You wouldn't catch me cuddling like that!

So...everyone, I'm sorry this is such a boring post! I will leave you with another cute picture of me ~ Buster! Maybe next Tuesday we will have more interesting news. If it rains all week, I will have to find a box or something to play with...maybe toss and bat around some of those silly fake mice our human bought us! Goodbye for now. Meow!!

Cats on Tuesday - Meet and Greet

I've discovered a delightful new blog party called Cats on Tuesday, so....of course, I had to join in the fun! This is our very first time linking to it, so we're calling it a "Meet and Greet" post!  When I say "we," I'm referring to me (Cindy) of course, and my 3 furry housemates - Buster, Sam and Rudy.

This is Buster, the oldest cat in the household, and if you asked him, the most important of the group. He appeared on my doorstep one snowy, cold night in December and wouldn't leave. When no one else would claim him...well...you know how it goes. That was almost 9 years ago. He really wishes he didn't have to share the house with 2 other cats, and when he thinks I'm not looking, he tries to bite their ears! Buster has personality with a capital P!

This is Buster meditating...which he does daily.

This is my sweet Sam (sometimes called Sammy.) Sam is a Maine Coon cat with a HUGE appetite! He loves his food more than anything in the world...eating and sleeping are his two favorite things. Sammy really is one of the sweetest cats I've ever known and he's very, very shy.

Sweet Sam

Sammy - sleepy after a big meal

Last, but not least, is my very handsome Rudy! He loves, loves, loves to be outdoors and would stay outside all the time - if I allowed him!  He's also the most vocal and lets me know when he's hungry, when he wants to go outside...when he wants me to wake up from a sound, cozy sleep (sigh!) Rudy is very affectionate - but shy around people, other than me.

Rudy reading his favorite book, "Diary of a Cat."

My handsome Rudy

I really should have named this blog, Art, Books, Tea and Cats!
