Cats on Tuesday - Rudy's Turn

Hello friends,
Dis is Rudy. Time for me to write for our special blogging day, Cats on Tuesday. For those who like kitties, be sure to visit Gattina's blog at My Cats and Funny Stories for more furry funny cat stories.

First, I give you update on Buster after his horrible time at hospital. He is back to his normal self...doing he daily meditations and biting my ears and trying to be boss of me and Sam. Here you can see for yourself that he is good and well now.

Sam is good, too, and doing what Sam do best - sleeping and eating! MOL!

Now, I want to tell you a story about me. When I was tiny kitty, I lived in a garage with my real (cat)
Mom and brothers and sisters. My human pawrents at that time couldn't keep all of us, so they put an ad in paper that say FREE KITTENS TO GOOD HOME. This is when Mom Cindy come to get me. I was first (and only one) of my sisters and brothers she picked up and I snuggled under her chin on her shoulder. She fell in love with me and I fell in love with her and she become my new pawrent. Today I am a grown man-cat, but I still like to sit on her shoulder. Here is picture of us Mom take a couple weeks ago...she say I almost smother her. MOL!

What else I been doing is napping...

...and guess what? I finally talk Buster into teaching me how to do meditations. He say it help with stresses...I bet he had lots of stresses the day he got tooth pulled out of his head! MOL! How do you think I'm doing?

Om...roast chicken...omm...ham...toona...fresh turkey...om

Well, friends, I hope you like my update. Everyone have a good week.
Until next time,
Rudy

Cats on Tuesday - Rudy's Update

Hello Friends,
Rudy here. How is everybody? Guess what? I'm playing trick on Mom! I steal her glasses she left laying on sofa. MOL!  I hide them and she will look for them all over house.

This is something I like to do sometimes. Is funny to watch Mom look for them. Then she say, "did one of you take my glasses?" When she look at me, here is what I will be doing - all innocent like.

Friends, please don't tell Mom what I do. Now, I will tell you what we been doing since last time, which is not much, but we are all good. Buster still doing he daily meditations every morning after he eat.

Om...ommm

Ahhh...I feel so relaxed and centered. Now is time for nap!

I ask Buster to teach me meditations, but he say "I'm not a guru." I don't know what that means, but I think it means "no."

Sam has been eating and sleeping because....well, because that is what Sammy always do!

Sam sleeping

More of Sam sleeping

That is update from  me, friends.  Now, I'm going to go see if Mom find her glasses yet. MOL! Do you ever play tricks on your pawrents?

Until next time,
Rudy

Cats in Windows

My blogging friend, Myric, of Petites Passions, is launching her new link party "Passion Parade Friday Link Soiree."  The idea is to post about something you're passionate about and link it to her blog. As most of my followers know, I'm passionate about several things; art, books, tea, nature, travel...and cats! So, this Friday, I'm sharing photos of my cats (those furry critters just can't get enough of seeing themselves online!) I invite everyone to visit Myric's blog, if you aren't already a follower of hers, and join in the fun. She's also hosting a giveaway!

Rainy day musings...

In the meantime, Sam retreated for a snooze. A nice day for a nap...but then, everyday is a good day to nap for a cat!

And here is our English kitty friend, Dolly. I introduced Dolly to you in an earlier post, which can be found HERE.

Here are a few more photos of cats in windows that I found on Google Images from a website called Great-Pictures-Of-Cats.com.

Hello friends,
Buster here.  I so sorry for not much blogging lately - it's Mom's fault!! She is on something called "spring break," but today I sneak on computer to blog for our special day - Cats on Tuesday. I have something very impawtant to tell you. We had a groundhog visit our house!! One day, big fat groundhog come up on patio, right up to our door! Sam was sitting there (not sleeping for once...hee hee hee) and he start to growl! I didn't know Sam could sound so mean! There was groundhog - looking inside!! He run around patio like he live there...then went in our garage and back out again!

Here is Rudy, asking Sam all about groundhog. He missed whole thing because he was taking nap!

So, friends, that was big excitement around here lately! I hope you have all been good and well. Now, I leave you with picture of cat reading book. Maybe you can explain why Mom laugh when she see this? Pawrents are so hard to understand sometimes!

Cats on Tuesday ~ Rudy Interviews Sam

Hello friends,
Rudy here. Time for our special blogging day, Cats on Tuesday! Now, some of you who read our blog might be thinking - we hear from Buster and we hear from Rudy...but why we never hear from Sam? Why Sam not ever blog? Well, Sam is shy - so this week I am going to interview him for you!

Here I am getting ready to blog.

This is Sam...also known as Sammy.

Rudy: "Sam, why you so shy?"
Sam: "I am not shy...I am strong, silent type. No reason to speak if nothing impawtant to say"

Rudy: "What is your favorite thing to do?"
Sam: "I like to sleep, take cat naps, eat, watch birdies out window...then sleep more."

Rudy: "Sam, you have anything else to say to blogging friends?"
Sam: "No. Time for my nap."

Okay, friends, that is my interview with Sam! He is man-cat of few words. MOL! Hope you enjoy knowing him better. For more funny cat stories, visit Gattina's blog My Cat and Funny Stories!

Until next time,

Cats on Tuesday - Buster, The Story of Me

THE STORY OF ME

Friends, this is true story of how I came to live with Mom, Sam and Rudy. Many years ago when I already a grown man cat, I lost my way. Was very cold outside with ice on ground. I decided I need to find new home quick before I freeze in tracks. I watched Mom for a while. When she carry food bags into house, she leave door open long enough for me to run inside. I see food in bowls on floor, so I help myself.

Mom turned around, saw me and said "Well, where did you come from?" I do lots of loud purrs at this point. She pick me up, making cuddle with me. Two other young kitties already there, so I know this is going to be easy job for me. Mom took me around neighborhood, knocking on doors and saying "is this your cat?"  Everyone say "no, we never saw him before." Then she take me home and say " it's so cold outside...you better sleep here tonight." Next day, she called cat shelter and when no one claim me...I have new home with her and 2 young ones she call Sam and Rudy! Then, she give me new name of Buster.

Soon, I'm right at home, playing with fake mousies, eating good food and sleeping in warm house.

I become boss of young ones and keep them in line by biting their ears. I even train Mom to drip faucet in tub so I have fresh water all the time. Life is good. So, friends, moral of this story is: if you ever lose your way, watch for open door and make new life. This is true story of me.

Until next time,
Buster
