Old windows (and doors) hold a fascinating attraction for me. I love the eclectic architectural elements of windows from around the world. I also think of them as "living art," in that they're a small window into the personalities of the people who live there - or lived there, in the case of a historical home. Which of the above windows appeals most to you? The windows in the little cottage in Hampshire, England is my favorite! This small sampling of windows was found on Google Images. ReplyDeleteCindy I love your windows. I love windows and doors too and take pictures of them when I see unique ones. Only thing is there aren't any around here like in Europe. My favorite is the cottage in Hampshire, England too.

ReplyDeleteOh they are all lovely, but I love the Hampshire one too. I so can't help myself when I have a camera in hand to take photo's of doors and windows. I especially like the old (Dunny)outside toilet doors in Australia,all shabby and chippy.

Some of those windows were so small, we doubt there are any sunpuddles inside for the kitties. That window in Tuscany especially looked like something out of a shelter (or prison)
