Shabby Chic Tea Party~

Hello everyone,
It's been a while since we've had a "virtual" tea party. This one has a shabby chic/pink theme, and you're all invited - so, let's go!

We'll start by decorating with antique roses, candles and pearls.

...and maybe a pretty white bird cage filled with flowers or cupcakes.

I love this idea - take "shabby chic" paper and roll into cones. Fill with tiny sweets for party favors.

Tea in lovely vintage tea cups, of course!

Finger sandwiches, fruit and cookies

Another great idea - an ice bowl filled with sherbet.

...and a special cupcake for everyone to end the day!

Thank you for stopping by...I hope you enjoyed the party!
Until next time,
Cindy

Cindy I just tried to respond to your comment email and it was returned to me. I then sent regular email to you but it too was returned. I wanted to say thanks for your visit and comments and to let you know I found the mini dominoes at the Dollar Tree Store hanging on the wall with the children's toys. Have a great week, Joyous Wishes, Linda

You are so talented and creative. Such lovely photos.

The lemonade set was popular during Victorian times. Mine belonged to my late parents and I treasure it. Thanks for your kind comment. Mildred

I love that look. I would like to make those paper things. I was thinking of going to Michaels and getting a punch that did the edges like that. I have loads of paper and thought it would make some nice cards and envelopes. I love the tea cups. When in England I saw some great ones for the Jubilee but did not want to risk bringing them back. Apart from that my credit card didn't work there and that was just as well.
