Art is all around us ~ it isn't always on a canvas or in a gallery. It's sometimes in the most unlikely places. Take windows, for example. This says "art" to me:
Oooh...I think perhaps Rapunzel lives here!
I've saved the best for last! This is my favorite ~ I'm sure I could live here happily ever after! A little stone cottage with pink shutters and pink roses, in the woods or by the sea....
Until next time, enjoy! Look for window art in your own neighborhood!

Oh, I simply ADORE windows too, Cindy! These are gorgeous!!! WOW--what a great idea for a post, my friend.
I still think you can post anything from Pinterest only because I see people do it all the time...I think they just give the people credit for it.

That is art for sure, I love the first one. I am your newest follower.
I love what you state in your bio about how art is just a way of looking at the world and learning to see the beauty all around us. That's a beautiful reminder to see beauty in everything - even windows! :)
I just returned from bicycling from the top to the bottom of France, and I took tons of photos of just window shutters. There were so many different kinds with different colors that they definitely were photo worthy. I plan to do a blog on them soon.
Thank you for sharing all of your window "art"...they are all so lovely!! I want to live at the pink shutter house...can you even image.
Thank you also for visiting my blog and leaving a kind comment. I'm following you TOO! Have a great week. Bobbie

SO pretty! I love the photos you chose! I'd LOVE to have some window boxes overflowing with flowers one day!
I really love those windows! I think about half the pictures I took in Italy were of gorgeous weathered windows with shutters, flowers and character. Coming home to those views must never get old.
From one Ohio blogger to another...found you at Debbie's.....love your window pics....they are all lovely.
I think they are all so romantic. I went back to pick a favorite but could not decide on just one, I love them all! Beautiful which ever way choose!

Oh how lovely. I just adore window boxes!! The more flowers the better.
Hello,
I visited your blog today - I saw you on 'Whimsical Musings.' Your blog is charming, and your photos are so lovely. I really liked the pink post with Audrey. I did a post that was similar called 'A Glorious Color.' Your name really caught my eye because those are things that me and daughters love - Art, Books, Tea. In fact, my daughter is working right now on her Ph.D. and has to read so many books a day. We started a new blog, and we would love it if you could visit us and follow. I would really enjoy coming back to visit with you. Your blog is so pretty, and I am leaving here today with a smile. Hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.

Beautiful window art! Windows are fascinating. I also love doors. Both are so symbolic!
Hugs,
Terri
Great pictures. I loved the one where two red pots are kept on the window sill. This post inspires me make a 'window-painting'.
