I don't have a fireplace mantle, so this is on top of my bookcase! I usually decorate for Autumn, rather than "Halloween," because that way I don't have to change anything until after Thanksgiving. I did add the black crow, though...but then, crows aren't necessarily just for Halloween, are they? I have a mix of natural - pumpkins, pinecones and leaves, mixed with a few fake autumn leaves that I picked up at the dollar store.
I've had the cute little pinecone boy for a few years.
He reminds me of a more "grown-up" version of the Gumnut Babies! If you'd like to read my previous blog post about Gumnut Babies, you can find it by clicking HERE
Until next time, have a wonderful day!

I just love harvest decor! I never do Halloween - can't stand the event. But, Getting all the country harvest stuff out at the beginning of September is something to look forward to in my house! I shall have to do a show and tell of my own one of these days. Black Friday - when everyone else is shopping for sales - I'm putting all the Christmas stuff up!!
Joy!

Lovely, Cindy! I don't do Halloween either. Never have, never will! Like Katherine, I can't stand the event and I'll be glad when it's over. I LOVE Christmas! Your little acorn boy is adorable! Thanks for sharing and have a lovely weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi

I have a black crow like yours on my front porch. Something (another bird?) keeps attacking it. I'm off to find your follow button!
